HOW DOES IT WORK?
Sylfirm X is FDA approved and uses a precise, robotic microneedling system to deliver radiofrequency energy into the precise depth of the skin for optimal results with minimal discomfort. This triggers a process which stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, firming and tightening the skin.
There is no cutting or stitches, no bruising and minimal swelling so downtime is not an issue, allowing you to go about your busy life as normal. The treatment takes around 20 minutes to perform and results will start to be seen approximately 6 weeks later.
We recommend 3 treatments at 4-6 weekly intervals to achieve the best result.
BEFORE AND AFTER TREATMENT
Before treatment is performed you will have a consultation with one of our expert team to confirm your suitability for treatment.
On the day of treatment an anaesthetic cream will be applied to your eyelids to make the procedure as comfortable as possible. The treatment will then be performed precisely to the area which requires to be tightened. You may feel some heat and mild discomfort during treatment but this will be minimal and short lived.
Immediately after treatment the treated area will feel hot and tender (similar to sunburn). There will be some redness and blotchiness on the skin which should resolved within 12-24 hours. The area will be very slightly swollen (feeling tight) and tender for a few days but will be fully healed within a week.
In the weeks after treatment we advise the use of a daily facial sunscreen (at least SPF 30) to protect the healing new skin.
