WHAT IS RADIOFREQUENCY TREATMENT?

Radiofrequency is a pain free, non invasive treatment which uses electromagnetic energy to heat the skin, increasing blood flow, promoting lymphatic drainage and boosting collagen and elastin production in the skin for a tightening, firming effect. Radiofrequency treatments can be performed on the face and body.

Radiofrequency carries out three fundamental actions in the skin:

Epidermis: increases cellular turnover for skin renewal
Dermis: stimulates the fibroblasts to boost production of collagen and elastin

THE TREATMENT

Firstly, you will have a consultation to ensure that you are suitable for Radiofrequency treatment. Before the procedure the area being treated is cleansed and a Radiofrequency cream is applied. If you are having a body treatment a metal plate will be applied to your skin. The KRF ceramic handpiece is then applied to the skin until the whole area has been treated.

During the treatment you will feel some heat but the procedure is completely pain free. Immediately after treatment your skin will be a little pink and glowy but there is no downtime so you can reapply your make up and resume your daily activities straight away.

Each treatment session delivers powerful results with zero downtime. For best results we recommend a course of 6 treatments at weekly intervals then maintenance sessions every 3 months.
